Getting to Redfest
Where’s the party at?
We’re in St George Park this year again! We do need to raise enough money to cover the cost of a park festival. Find out more about how you can help with that here!
Getting here by bike
It’s never been easier to come to Redfest by bicycle!
We have The Cycle Hub again this year, providing free bike parking (remember to bring your lock!), bike maintenance services, a workshop to make musical instruments from old bike parts and much much more.
If you do cycle or walk to Redfest we would like to thank you for helping keep the local air clean and lower our carbon footprint.
Getting here on public transport
Bus numbers 32, 42, 43, 44, 45 go along Church Road past the south side of the park: tell the driver you’re going to St George Park.
Bus numbers 6 and 7 go along Whitehall Road the other side of the park: tell the driver you’re going to St George Park. Get off at Gordon Road or Embassy Road stops and walk to the park via any of the following roads: Congleton, Altringham, Bowden or Chester.
The nearest train station is Lawrence Hill. Come out of the station by any exit and turn left onto Church Road. From there you can catch a bus from the same side of the road that you are standing on. Or if you’re feeling energetic it’s about 15 minutes’ walk to St George Park – we suggest you stop to refuel on the way with a drink at the Old Stillage pub or Grounded cafe bar, two of our lovely sponsors!
Getting here by car
On festival day, car parking is almost non-existent so unless you really have no other option we strongly recommend leaving the car at home. If you do have to bring your car, please be respectful of local residents!
