We’re really excited that Redfest is returning to the park this year. Redfest all started in the garden at Grounded Redfield, when we were looking for a way to have more evening events happening on Church Road (and sell more beer). It all started with a few local musicians performing for a small crowd, and evolved into regular live music nights. It’s amazing to see a small community festival grow into such an amazing event that’s famous all over Bristol.
With our Garden Stage we take Redfest back to its roots, hosting music in our garden from 6.30pm until 10.30pm on Saturday 4th, then an acoustic brunch with live music from 11am on Sunday 5th. From local singer/songwriters to Balkan folk and funky rock music, we have something for everyone on our stage. Check out http://www.cafegrounded.co.uk/upcoming for full details of all musicians.
We are also hosting a fundraising event for Redfest on Friday 27th July, with music from Pik-C, a local singer/songwriter who has played at the festival before. This event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
