Help us organise Redfest 2016

So, remember how much you enjoyed Redfest this year? Fancy helping us make the next one? We have the following vacancies for volunteers in the team that organises the festival:

  • Kids Village Manager
  • Fundraiser – corporate sponsorship
  • Fundraiser – fundraising events
  • Catering team (junior role – please note this is the team that organises catering stalls at the festival, it doesn’t involve actual catering)
  • Health and safety team (junior role)
  • Site zone managers
  • Site build managers
  • Site decor team
  • Merchandise team

The time commitment and experience needed for each role varies, and you don’t need to have experience in events for all of the roles: transferable skills are welcome. We also have plenty of jobs for enthusiastic people with no experience who just want to do something great for their community!

If any of this sounds like you and you want to find out more, email us at

Core team meeting June 2015
The 2015 core team get together once a month to catch up – here are some of us at a meeting shortly before the festival.

Redfest needs you!

Update: Thank you to everyone who has applied – we now have all the volunteers we need for Redfest 2015. But if you’d like to help next year, email or pop by the info tent at the festival on 1 August and leave us your contact details.

Redfest is getting bigger and better, and we need more volunteers to join our fantastic team.

Are you passionate about your community? Do want to want to use your unique skills to make a difference?

Redfest is organised entirely by volunteers in their spare time, and is funded through donations, grant income and sponsorship. So, we need your help. No experience needed, and everyone who’s over 18 is welcome, including disabled people. If you would like to be a steward, stagehand or other general volunteer for Redfest 2016, please email and let us know. If you’re interested in being part of the core team that organises the event, check out the latest vacancies that we have available.

Help keep Redfest free

St George Park, where Redfest happens, is full of beautiful trees – but unfortunately, money does not grow on them! And the costs of putting on a festival are rising each year. So Redfest relies on the generosity of local people to keep us the best free festival in Bristol.

If you’re a business and would like to sponsor us, you can email for more information. We have lots of different options and can even tailor-make a sponsorship package to suit you. Look who’s already got their brand linked with Redfest (are any of them your competitors?!).

We also gratefully accept donations from anyone who enjoys the festival: you can donate with a credit or debit card, or through PayPal, by clicking on the “donate” button that you’ll see on every page of this website. You could also throw some cash into one of our buckets at a fundraising event or at the festival itself.

We love everyone who comes to Redfest, but we especially love people who donate! And if you’re in the local area, please think about giving your business to one of our wonderful sponsors or partners. We couldn’t do it without them.
