Hooray for Grounded, our first headline sponsor

Grounded Cafe Redfield are a long time supporter of Redfest Bristol, and we are really pleased that they’ve come on board this year as our first headline sponsor.

There are a million reasons to love Grounded – they’ve got the best pizza on Church Road, a lovely little garden, really nice veggie options on their menu as well as hearty meat, they do great takeaway coffee early in the morning right near the bus stop into town, and many more. But most of all we love how they support the local arts with lots of gigs by local bands and frequently changing exhibitions by local artists.

Not to mention of course that they help support Redfest every year with much-needed funds. We don’t charge for entry to festival so we rely on generous support from sponsors such as Grounded to help cover the costs of essential stuff like toilets, power, and generators.

If you have a business and you’d like to find out more about supporting Redfest, email info@redfestbristol.co.uk and we’ll be happy to talk through details about the different ways you can help, the pricing range, and what you’ll get in return (as well as a warm fuzzy feeling).

If you’d just like to donate money you can do that using the PayPal donation button on every page of this website, and we will love you very much.

Line-up for the Grounded Garden Stage

A young blonde woman stands in front of a blackboard that reads: Grounded summer music: 7.30 Wednesday 8th July Glow Globes gypsy jazz folk Redfest fundraiser; REDFEST 2015 GARDEN STAGE Saturday August 1st Lady Nade, Chris Webb, BiffBangPow, The British European Jazz Ensemble: BBQ IN ST GEORGE PARK:

When we saw Cafe Grounded (one of our headline sponsors) post this photo on their Facebook page we couldn’t resist sharing it! Barista Ashley’s groovy graphics have got us really excited about the line up on the Grounded Garden Stage. It’s is a lovely place to enjoy some intimate gigs if you prefer to get away from the crowds in the main festival, and with the added bonus of delicious food and drinks and cake… as every local knows, Grounded’s cake selection is one of the best in Bristol!

PS If you want to know more about the gig at the top of this list, click here to find out more about the Glow Globes fundraiser.

The Glow Globes play midweek gypsy jazz

We all love to tap our feet to gypsy jazz, and we all love to fill our faces with pizza, so why not combine the two on Wednesday 8 July when the Glow Globes will play a fundraiser gig for us at Cafe Grounded. All you have to do is turn up and throw whatever cash you can spare into the Redfest donations bucket! It’s a great way to get over Hump Day: you get the entertainment and you also get to help support your favourite local festival.

Find them at Redfest headline sponsor Cafe Grounded, 287 Church Road, BS5, on 8 July 2015 at 8pm and if you’d like a tuney taster beforehand, check out the Glow Globes’ website.

Kirsten Sings with Andy Christie

On June 3 the brilliant Kirsten Sings is joined by Andy Christie on guitar for a night of music at Redfield’s Cafe Grounded, in aid of Redfest.

What could be more lovely than some acoustic jazz folk tunes to accompany delicious food and maybe a cheeky midweek glass of wine?

Find them at Redfest headline sponsor Cafe Grounded, 287 Church Road, BS5, on 3 June 2015 at 7.30.
