Redfest goes green

Inspired by Bristol’s selection as European Green Capital 2015, the festival’s theme this year will be “Redfest goes green!” (No, not “Greenfest”… we’re still in Redfield after all!)

We’re working hard to reduce the festival’s impact on the environment (learn more about this) and to include sustainability-themed fun in the line-up. If you’ve got ideas about what we could do, tell us about them on Facebook or Twitter!

If you’re interested in a space in our marketplace, email for more information. The festival attracts an estimated 5,000 people so you will have plenty of customers interested in a wide range of products and services.

To give you some ideas, here are just a few of the stalls from Redfest 2014…

We no longer have any pitches available to food and drink stalls for 2015, sorry. Try again next year!

Redfest needs you!

Update: Thank you to everyone who has applied – we now have all the volunteers we need for Redfest 2015. But if you’d like to help next year, email or pop by the info tent at the festival on 1 August and leave us your contact details.

Redfest is getting bigger and better, and we need more volunteers to join our fantastic team.

Are you passionate about your community? Do want to want to use your unique skills to make a difference?

Redfest is organised entirely by volunteers in their spare time, and is funded through donations, grant income and sponsorship. So, we need your help. No experience needed, and everyone who’s over 18 is welcome, including disabled people. If you would like to be a steward, stagehand or other general volunteer for Redfest 2016, please email and let us know. If you’re interested in being part of the core team that organises the event, check out the latest vacancies that we have available.

Help keep Redfest free

St George Park, where Redfest happens, is full of beautiful trees – but unfortunately, money does not grow on them! And the costs of putting on a festival are rising each year. So Redfest relies on the generosity of local people to keep us the best free festival in Bristol.

If you’re a business and would like to sponsor us, you can email for more information. We have lots of different options and can even tailor-make a sponsorship package to suit you. Look who’s already got their brand linked with Redfest (are any of them your competitors?!).

We also gratefully accept donations from anyone who enjoys the festival: you can donate with a credit or debit card, or through PayPal, by clicking on the “donate” button that you’ll see on every page of this website. You could also throw some cash into one of our buckets at a fundraising event or at the festival itself.

We love everyone who comes to Redfest, but we especially love people who donate! And if you’re in the local area, please think about giving your business to one of our wonderful sponsors or partners. We couldn’t do it without them.
